About Us
The Nacol Family has been in the jewelry business since 1889. William Nacol and his wife, Patsy, joined the family jewelry business in 1976. In June of that year, they opened their first location in Orange, Texas. In 1979, they decided to expand their thriving business into Lafayette, Louisiana. Mr. Nacol, his wife and family have remained in Lafayette, the heart of Cajun Country, since they moved from Texas. The main store was originally located “on the boulevard” for over 25 years.
In 2000, Nacol’s Jewelry built a strip mall facing Johnston Street, where the store is now located. Nacol’s Jewelry is in a shopping center between Gambino’s Bakery and Cajun Cannabis. William S. Nacol Jewelry is a family owned and operated store. In 1998, two of the children and their spouses joined the family business. The employees have become a part of our family as they have been with Nacol’s Jewelry for years.
